The HKTDC Marketplace App offers a range of additional features for buyers and exhibitors to communicate easily and efficiently:

Export Messages
Message Translation
- You can translate a received message by long pressing the message and selecting Translate from the menu.
- You will be asked to choose your preferred language to translate to.
- The translated message will show under the original message.
- You can change your default language setting for translation on the messages channel listing page. Click the settings button on the top right corner of the page.
- More than 20 preferred languages are available for you to choose.
Pin Message
- To pin a message in the chatroom, long press the message and select Pin to mark the message as pinned.
- To view all pinned messages, go to the Supplier’s / Buyer's Trust Card by clicking the supplier’s or buyer's name at the top of the screen, and select Pinned Items to view all the pinned messages.
Pin Chats
- On the channel listing page, select the chat channel you want to pin and swipe right, then click Pin Channel.
- You can also turn on the Pin this channel toggle in the Supplier’s / Buyer's Trust Card.
- The pinned channel will display on the top of the channel listing page.
Search in Message Centre
To search for a message, click the search bar on the channel list or the button in the chat room.
Delete Messages
- You can recall messages or attachments by long pressing the message and selecting Delete to recall a message.
- Please be remined that the messages and attachments cannot be deleted after 24 hours.
Folder Management
You may organize your messages into custom folders at the channel listing page for efficient management of communications.
- To add a new folder, click on the + New Folder button.
- Enter the name of the new folder and select chat channels to move into the new folder. Then click Create button.
- You can find the newly created folders at the top of the channel listing.
- You can also add chat channel to the folder by swiping the selected chat to the right and click the Add to Folder button.
Export Messages
You can export your chat history for your own record.
- Select the chat which you want to export messages. Click on the Supplier or Buyer name to access the Supplier’s / Buyer's Trust Card.
- Select Export messages.
- Specify a date range to export the message. Please note that the messages are retrievable for up to two years from the date they were sent.
- Click Export. Once the file is ready, the system will send you an email with a download link. Click on the provided link in the email to download the text file.
